tioleo develops desktop applications that perform their main processing locally on the user's computer.

Personal Data Collection
Unless explicitly stated otherwise by a specific application, tioleo desktop applications do not collect:

- File names
- File contents
Local File Processing
Applications such as Norma and REC(over) process files locally on the user's device.
Files selected by the user are not uploaded to tioleo servers. Generated, modified or recovered files are saved only to locations selected by the user.
REC(over) does not overwrite the original source file during the recovery process.
Internet Connectivity
Some applications may connect to Microsoft services when required for:
- Microsoft Store licensing
- Purchase validation
- Store-managed application updates
User files, recovered files and file contents are not transmitted to tioleo through these operations.
Microsoft Store Services
Purchases, licenses and application updates distributed through the Microsoft Store are processed by Microsoft.
Microsoft's handling of account and payment information is governed by Microsoft's own privacy policies and terms.
Data Storage
tioleo does not operate a remote storage service for files processed by its desktop applications.
Application settings and license-related information may be stored locally on the user's device or managed through the Microsoft Store, depending on the application version and distribution method.
Children's Privacy
tioleo desktop applications are not designed to collect personal information from children.
